The Divers Emergency Life Support Syllabus contains the methodology of the current best clinical practice as defined by the Manual of Core Material as approved by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care,  Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

The DELS First Responder Course achieved RCSEd FPHC Approval in October 2008

To assist in the creation of this new standardised approach to resuscitation of injured divers, Poseidon Diving Systems Ltd will adopt the DELS Syllabus as the minimum standard that is required for the pre-hospital emergency care of injured divers and will support the DELS Training Team in the facilitation of it's training courses.
